In rare cases, cosmetic fillers can swell slightly after a vaccine. This has been recently reported with the COVID vaccine. This reaction is temporary and usually resolves within 24-48 hours and can be treated. None of the reported cases were serious, life-threatening, or had long-term complications. For this reason, one who has a history of having fillers may get the COVID-19 vaccine.
