Skin Cancer

Dr. Bader specializes in the detection and treatment of skin cancer. As the incidence of malignant melanoma is risking in epidemic proportions, our office offers full body skin examinations to all patients, although these must be requested and scheduled in advance of one’s appointment. It is recommended that all patients undergo a skin cancer screening. During these screenings, one removes all of their clothing, with the option of leaving one’s undergarments on (i.e. underpants and bra).

After completing a residency in Dermatology, Dr. Bader completed a one-year fellowship in Dermatologic Plastic Surgery and Mohs’ micrographic surgery, a procedure with the highest cure rate for basal cell carcinoma and squamous cell carcinoma. At our office, we will ensure that you receive the best possible outcome. For some skin cancers, several treatment options exist, including non-surgical options. We will assist you in choosing the best treatment for you. For complex situations, our office will coordinate one’s care with other specialists, including Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, General Surgery, Plastic Surgery, and Otolaryngology (Ears, Nose, & Throat).

Key Factors to Having a Good Outcome
