There have been many concerns in recent years over the safety of sunscreens. There are many safe sunscreens and all are not the same. Before we get into the details, let’s look at the recent issue of “contamination” with benzene. This has been found in at least 78 products made by Neutragena, Aveeno, Coppertone, and others. The products that we sell in our office are all Benzene free and the “contaminated” products have been removed from shelves in stores.
